Anderson - Dvorak - Armia
Pezzetta - Evans - Gallagher
Heineman, Boulet

Matheson - Guhle
Hutson - Savard
Xhekaj - Struble
Barron

Montembeault, Primeau

Mailloux and Roy are cut, but not the entire season, regardless of injuries.

Normal that it meant more for Heineman and Kapanen. I expect Kapanen to stay here for now and Heineman to be the first call up if injury to a top 9 player.
Normal, dude had played 23 games, he isn’t guarantee a spot. He has done nothing to feel entitled.

I'd send ABB down. He'll be more useful in the AHL. It makes me laugh a bit when fans say i've seen enough of this kid at camp. I've seen enough was 3 years ago in the case of ABB. If there's not one of Tuch, Kapanen, Roy and Heineman able to do better than ABB mid term then cancel the rebuild, fire eveyone and start again. ABB is the been there and done that of this season. Local boy on his last chance to make the NHL who is balls to the wall. We have seen this time and time and time again. Belzile. Steve Begin. Alouette. For sure there's one of those 4 kids i named before who is ready to learn the rope. They are all 21+. It's management's job to identify which one it is. Wasting time on ABB would be the same old same old of the last 30 years. We can't have all the kids graduate at once at the same time next year. We got to have some in the lineup this year. They'll struggle at first it's normal.

I threw up in my mouth a little every time I tried to come up with the last 3 forward lines so gave up

Maybe the preseason passengers (specifically Roy, Newhook and Anderson) will flip a switch and surprise me but heading for another Top 5 pick.

I'm not sure Kapanen is good enough to start on a 2nd line as a winger.
Lots of hype but he definitely isn't better than Suzuki was when he started on a 4th line wing.
I have Evans as our 3rd C but I'd actually use Armia with him they have a built in chemistry because of their PK minutes.
Maybe use Kapanen with them because of the Finnish connection should be a decent shut down line.

I think you're right about Mailloux getting cut.
Initially I thought they were going to let him stick with the team so Reinbacher could get top minutes in Laval, but with him out of the picture I think they're going to give that seat to Mailloux again for the season.

My goodness, those bottom three forward lines we have are embarrassing. Going to be another long, long year.

Yeah I get what you mean. I think we have to give Dach something better than what we are looking at.
I think the odds of Caufield ending up with him eventually are pretty high.
Dach is definitely more of a play driver than Suzuki and that should free up Caufield to get lost in the weeds more often.
Possibly also getting slightly easier match ups.
The weakness on the wings rears it's ugly head at this point two wingers in that top six who aren't IMO.

I won't be popular, but instead of putting f***ing Armia on the second line, why not try ABB? The guy at least definitively has a good vision and offensive sense, and had a good camp.

Looks dogshit without Laine doesn't it

Might be worth a shot spreading out the top line until he gets back.

Slaf-Suzuki-Kapanen
Caufield-Dach-Roy
Armia-Newhook-Gallagher
Evans-Dvorak-Anderson

Get ready for another top10, maybe top5 pick boys
