Don't get me wrong, I would looove the Habs to grab Lakovic, particularly if they believe they can develop him to have a more physical presence. For Reschny, there is the fact that he plays center, and while he may be on the smaller side, for what I could gather, I believe he doesn't lack intensity in his play.

I like that haul too. The Habs also need more skill up front especially at 2C and 3C, in addition to grit. I'd be intrigued if the Habs could generate another first rounder out of their seconds and later draft picks, perhaps packaged with one of numerous LDs in the system, and follow that up with a combination of size and skill at forward.

Even if he is kinda soft his size means he wont get pushed around.


as for the picks I agree. One of Carbonneau, Bear and Lakovic should be there at 16 and at 17 I get a feeling they take Ravensbergen ( if they use both picks)

Hmmm with Fowler coming, and Dobes in the area, I doubt they pick a goalie that high!

You are probably right, Its not an area of need for the moment but you cant have too many quality options. That is of course assuming they use both picks which I doubt anyways. I suspect they trade at least one of them possibly both.
