Panarin literally looked like we was ready to cry on the bench so I’d guess he’s one of them.
didn't watch this game but Panarin to me is one of the guys who's actually been trying hard. I might not think he's playing the most effective way but he's going in after pucks and trying to make things happen. Maybe I'm giving him too much rope but I don't really feel like he's behind the big issues with this team right now. Dude wants to win.

e: I mean how much of giving up 6 goals is continued shit defense and poor puck management? How can we be halfway through the season and the team has absolutely no clue how to play defense? Even if the coaches are asking them to do dumb shit there's no way at this point they can continue to f***ing suck at it so bad. I see miscommunications and dumb shit all over the place when they're trying to play D, that shit should be gone by now even if you're still just bad at it

Mika @ 50 % should be attractive for quite a few teams. If the Rangers sit down with him and say they want to move on I dont think he will block a trade to a playoff team. Who wants to play for a team that doesnt want them anylonger?
At 50%? That’s quite a retention for such a long duration (even before we start dealing with NMC).

Not questioning his effort, but if we’re talking about energy vampires on the bench, a pouty Panarin is definitely part of it.

We know who the biggest offenders here likely are.

I gave up on this game. I'm so down on our future..I don't understand how you can make the mistake of paying 11.5/8 for a goalie, before fixing the rest of our glaring issues.

I think that contract we will up as the worst in franchise history.

Worse than Redden, Girardi, Gomez, Drury, Zib etc

I take it Laviolette survives until at least the Chicago game, he seems immune to all this, with Drury blaming the players more. I think there is plenty of blame to go round.

Not a chance. Everyone and Ray Charles saw that he was cooked his last year in Ottawa.

I'm thinking we'll get at least 3 to 4 decent years out of Igor's contract before it becomes an anchor.

Lavi is not immune. He is gone in the summer or once the tumors are removed.

There’s no salvaging this season or roster. Moves need to be made.

To all the stat needs (or just people who know which sites to look at), did we out chance them 5v5?
Special teams were a shitfight but it kind of felt like we outplayed them for stretches and then made some combination of missing the net, poor defensive coverage or lack of a timely save

This game was blacked out for me, how was Borgen

Borgen saved from being the very last for a 3rd game in a row on the stat sheet came in second to last over Carrick who took 3 straight penalties with Tampa scoring on 2 of them.

But he slammed someone to the ice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
