A good bench player in the NBA is an important player. Your 6th man is a very important player. As a matter of fact, a lot of teams are set up so that their first player off the bench is the backup point guard. He's running the offense when he's playing. That's why I said it's like a 2C.

Brodzinski (and Carrick for that matter) are like the guys who have "DNP" next to them most games. That's your 10th, 11th, 12th man.

Brodz is good when he comes off the bench. Good energy. Then he sits again.

Brodzinski is better than 90% of the 4th liners in the league but he doesn't do "stuff."

Carrick is f***ing horrible and leads the team in penalties. I don’t get why we people cling to these shit 4th liners and hate on the good ones. Happened with Bonino too

I've been to every Ranger game at Tampa dating back to the 02-03 season. I've never seen them play like they did tonight. No one talks to each other on the bench. No one takes the body or breaks up plays. Trochek was the only one that showed up tonight from my view. Mika looks like an AHL callup at this point. Both he and Kreider mailed.it in. They both dont want to be there. The defense was atrocious with Miller being the worst by far. I am just stunned to see this team go from a top NHL team to the 92-93 Rangers redux so quickly. It looks far worse live than on tv. That much I can say for sure.

There are some things you just need to see live and when they come here to Colorado next month, I'm going to experience the dumpster fire with my own eyes. Can't wait.

We would save $666K for the next 5 seasons and then carry dead cap of $333k for an additional 5 season. Basically, it's not remotely feasible.

It`s better trading him with 50 % retention. Might even get a decent return. If ZIb waives his NTC of course...

Seems like Borgen is at the bottom of theese charts in every game since he joined the Rangers. Who will trade a 2nd, or even a 3rd, for him at the deadline? We`ll be lucky to get a 5th.

Mika @ 50 % should be attractive for quite a few teams. If the Rangers sit down with him and say they want to move on I dont think he will block a trade to a playoff team. Who wants to play for a team that doesnt want them anylonger?

Also, doesn't seem like he wants to be here any longer as well, which is strange with a new family, who wants to pick up and relocate? He's an enigma.

At least we might have Hagens and Perreault together in the organization in June. We can look forward to that.
