Yeah, the Scheifele window will never be as open as it was last year, but the window is still open.

Guys, stay positive. Nothing is permanently lost, and depending on how this Buff, Connor & Laine situation turns out, Jets are potentially better team than Blues was last season. Everything is gonna all right.

Dropped this a few times last year, needs to be stated again, Scout for another team scouts the Moose regularly throughout the season, unsolicited said we have 4 prospect Dmen on the Moose that have the skills to be full time NHL blue liners.

I think there will be a few surprised naysayers this season with how well our back end holds up.

I really didn't know what to expect out of him having not really followed him much, but he's looked pretty good

I didn't get to see a lot of the last game, but I saw Heinola on the PP briefly. The way he smoothly skated to the right side of the ice and made a nice crisp pass back against the grain to Scheif in Laine's spot, was brilliant. Every image in my mind of a D in that spot on that PP stands stationary in the middle.

Along comes this kid and knows what to do instinctively.

Yeah he can move the the puck I’ll say that much. Don’t like him in our zone though. If he plays on a good team the the puck hopefully won’t be in our zone though.

I share your optimism.... I think our young guys have grown another year, hopefully had a productive off season and our 'new' D lineup will step up, helped by good D play from the forwards.

I'm pumped for the season to start.

I would love to be able to watch a scrappy underdog team this year. With low expectations, games may be much more fun to watch...
I will send positive thoughts that our team has remembered how to play in 3rd periods and that Maurice can make intermission adjustments when needed.

I am looking forward to taking things WAY less seriously this season. Last year was kind of depressing for me as a Jets fan and even more disappointing for me as far as a citizen living in this city that was collectively petty and poor sports. My small p pain was 100% self inflicted so shame on me. I learned a hugely valuable lesson.

I vow to curate my reality and enjoy Jets Hockey for exactly what it is.........”entertainment”. I will try to take it as it comes. On Paper We have some gaping holes in our line up but who knows how it all plays out? Guys will either step up or they won’t. There are pleasant and unpleasant surprises in the NHL every season.

I am glad Hockey is back.
