You don't sell things in Montreal like you sell them in Toronto or Halifax or Calgary, and nobody at Hockey Canada has figured that yet.

I can only comment on Toronto but with pricing starting at 99.00 for the team Canada games, I'm just not compelled to go never mind x 2 or 3.

Mind you, round robin games that don't involve the host (or Canada) generally don't sell well but if the pricing is not competitive, the organisation is setting thenselves up for embarrassment again.

The other half should have been in Ottawa, not Montreal. It has been proven to be successful in Ottawa seeing as every game at the big venue got over 17K people in 2009.

They should price the round robin games at like 50%-75% of what CHL games net to get people involved - especially with non-Canadian games. The $99 starting price point for junior hockey is absolute greed, especially when you've had a few boring games right off the hop.

I got golds in the corner's for the USA vs Slovakia game and it was like 20 bucks a pop on Stubhub. I'd check out more, the issue I have is, even if its cheap to get in, its still Leafs prices once you get in (aka 12 to 18 dollar beers).

i was there, there was not much people! it was a crazy ice day here, all the routes where cover with solid ice, was barely walkable!

But seriously, it's a shame. Audience in the arena is a big part of the TV-watching experience too.

I don't understand why they won't go back to Saskatoon. I get that we lost the bid, but this city was on fire in 2010.
