Lilleberg-Perbix is not the defensive pairing you want to see in the playoffs.
So either a bottom D or a top 4 D and move Cernak/Moser to the bottom, but that's not very realistic because it will cost too much.
and
3rd line forward who can chip in consistent scoring while not being a blackhole defensively.
In other words another Nick Paul.

Need a left-handed D on the bottom pair. Someone who fits with Raddysh so we can get rid of both Perbix and Lilleberg at once.

Our defense is incredibly solid and 7 deep, scratching Lilleberg/Raddysh/Perbix is already a luxury most teams don't have. Defense is something I think you leave alone until the offseason anyways.

Getting our third line going would create the kind of matchup problems other teams had against us when we won the cup. This could be done by acquiring a tweener, or, we could even get a guy who's a legit top 6 forward like we were talking about pre-season, to come in and push everyone else down a notch.

We shouldn't be in a rush to do either, target the right guy and don't overpay this time.

A goalie that plays on par with an average goalie, with an average salary.

That would open up a lot of room to address issues like a physical forward, a backup, etc
