Woll: 2.77 (29th out of 63)

Save%:
Stolarz: .916 (3rd out of 63)
Woll: .909 (15th out of 63)

High Danger save%;
Stolarz: .849 (1st out of 63)
Woll: .814 (33rd out of 63)

GSAA/60:
Stolarz: +0.39 (3rd out of 63)
Woll: +0.19 (14th out of 63)

Expected goals against/60:
Stolarz: 3.12 (13th highest out of 63)

Wolls numbers are decent but are we all sleeping on how good Stolarz is?

The only time I can think of a tandem working was fleury + Murray in 16-17 but I’d argue it wasn’t a traditional split as fleury played 15 straight games until he was pulled in a 5-1 loss where he gave up 4 on 9 shots, they then turned Murray for games 4-7 and the finals who secured the cup for them

That felt more like switching goalies mid run vs going with a tandem.

If stolarz isn’t playing well, or the team just needs a spark I wouldn’t be opposed to swapping goalies, but I’m really against going game 2 game goalies like how Boston did against us.

I'm hoping for the team to go on the kind of run that's worthy of utilizing both goalies. Woll for Game 1 perhaps simply because he's played in more games this season and has a bit of an edge in playoff games too? Credit to Stolarz though for having the better numbers otherwise.

I'm going to go off the board and say Matt Murray swoops in takes over en route where he wins the Vezina for his playoff prowess as he backstops the Leaf's to their 1st Stanley Cup since 1967.
