I wish the leafs brought back the red word mark in the crest. That’s about it. We’ve seen a newer version of pretty much everything else.

I like it without the outline of Ontario.

Maybe to troll other Canadian teams you should make an image with the outline of Canada since we are Canada's Team

This pretty much says what I am thinking as well. If you need a reverse retro per league mandate then use the St. Pats or one of the historic style jerseys - similar to the one posted above (jagged edge leaf) or something along the lines of what they wore in the 70's to early 90s (vertical stripe down the sleeves).

Toronto Maple Leafs 1945-48 - The (unofficial) NHL Uniform Database

worn for three seasons in the 40’s. Gives me dodgers vibes (which I think is a good thing). We’re known for blue and white and that should stay, but would be cool to see this brought back in some form.

I think these would be great for the "Next Gen" games. As long as we don't stray from the main jerseys for more than 12 games throughout the season I am good with whatever. I liked the reverse retros, I liked the St. Pats and I like the blackout concept you posted.

Black and neon blue is trash. I had second hand embarrassment for Stars fans when they rolled those out. I'd expect something like that from a roller hockey team, not an NHL team.

I'm all for bringing back the red wording or even trying all red alternates tho

Jerseys are so subjective. As far as I'm concerned, less is more. So I'm not a fan of the one in the OP. But to each their own.

Instead of the map of Ontario, if you can put the Leaf logo on top of a picture of a steak you've got my vote........
