I completely the opposite on that opinion. Big ice means more perimiter skating. Really boring stuff. I watched a lot of KHL a while ago coz I was getting it for free. It was mind numbing. I think they all went to NHL size ice 5 years now.

I rather see the skating and skill instead of goons crosschecking and interfering. I dont see perimeter skating when the Olympics are on with the best in the world playing. The game now is all played in neutral ice.
Playoffs is so much worse because the rules change to benefit the big slow defenceman and the goons.

I usually love international hockey but I’m not overly excited about this. Not all players are healthy and games start at an odd time.

Since it’s not best on best they probably should have played a best of 3 between US and Canada. I have zero interested in watching Sweden or Finland.

Well it is if its let go in the regular season ok... but its not....., But in playoffs the rules change and its ok there.
and the game gets all cluttered up in the neutral zone. So clutch ang grab and interference rule in playoffs. Helps the goons and slower bigger defenceman, hinders the stars. IMHO

The way those three play they are probably the least likely to get injured. Not that I want it to happen to anyone, but injuries may be more to our benefit.

Can confirm, im one of many bands that have had their van broke into while playing a show in MTL. Luckily it was while we were playing so they just stole our backpacks with clothes, toothbrushes etc. nothing important. Lock was bitch to fix tho. f***in degens

Scheifele not on the team is a mistake. He deserves to be there ahead of Bennett, Marchand, Crosby, Jarvis, Koneckny, Hagel and Cerelli IMO.

Ah man, sorry to hear that. I have some friends that got their gear stolen in MTL and one here in Toronto too, had 5000 dollars of guitar stuff taken. It sucks even worst since we barely make any money from gigging, if any.

Now that the games are upon us I'm starting to get pumped for it. Should be fun to see some best on best action and just seeing Mackinnon, Crosby, and McDavid all on the same team will be cool.
