I disagree about Chytil for Trocheck. Chytil might have more speed and inclination to shoot but his IQ I don’t think is as good as Trocheck. Laffy Panarin and Trocheck have great chemistry.

If there was a line I would keep untouchable, it's them.

God, Lafreniere looks so good out there. What about at the end when he cut inside and shimmied to the backhand. Work on that wrist shot this summer and he's a 60 point player bare min without PP1. If they ever get this guy out there on man advantage with 93, 20, 23, and 10, sky is the limit.

It's actually exciting to watch Laf play nowadays. Becoming a hell of a playmaker. Non Ranger fans like to bring up the fact that he's on a line with Panarin, but some of these passes are beautiful.

Edit: also notice he's more business like on the ice this year, less smiling after every play good or not. Even when he scores or makes a great play he looks like he's been there before.

Really liked Othmann's game tonight. Looks like he belongs. Keep playing him and get a healthy Kakko back and that helps big time. The team also needs a 3C upgrade but they have time to see if that will be Chytil or somebody at deadline.

Chytil and Trocheck both work on that line. Maybe not this year, but I really want to see an Othmann-Trocheck-Cuylle line at some point. Would be a really fun third line and a pain to play against. Could have something like:

Panarin-Chytil-Laf
Othmann-Trocheck-Cuylle
Vesey-Bonino-Goodrow
