That Oiler team that played game 1 and 2 against the Kings is long gone.

This group has built momentum and chemistry all series long and they're going to come out swinging for the fences.

Hopefully before the teams are all done playing the second round, we get Ekholm back.

Honestly think I hate Colorado fans just as much as Vegas/kings. Glad to see them go!

Vegas is probably my least favourite franchise.

But they barely even have fans especially on HFboards. Its a ghost town in their forums. So hard to hate them too much.

Vancouver probably my least favourite fanbase that I have experienced on here. Colorado is up there though. They have so many bandwagon fans on here.

I hope you’re right. Feels like the Oilers don’t fall into place until about game 3 though. Hopefully Pickard stabilizes us a bit too start … assuming he plays… ugh lol

Skinner crapped the bed
The book is out on him. Shoot high glove in close, or simple cross ice pass in the slot. He can't move across in time and his glove has always been weak. Also, he handles the puck like a grenade or passes it blindly up the boads where the opposition is waiting. He isn't getting better, he is getting worse. Time to get ridif him

Knoblach undecided. Wtf??????
I'm sure he's decided, he's just keeping it private. You don't want to give Vegas too much information ahead of time for game strategizing and you want to prepare both goalies.

Will they though? I love the optimism but they have proven that they are slow to start. I don’t think that can be argued.

I’m not trying to be negative on the Oil, I want them to win, but it’s BS for Conner to say they’re gonna start faster and harder.

Like WTF where ya been the last 6 years man. It’s not the DNA of the people in that room. But they do rise up when pushed into a corner, last year game 7 notwithstanding. Time to change the narrative maybe.

Since it's the first time they've ever played a team that has previously beaten them in the playoffs, hoping that they already feel like they've been pushed into a corner and they come out with something to prove rather than feeling their way into it. We'll find out in about 10 hours I guess.

TBH, Vegas is a really fun place to watch a game.

I've seen NHL and MLB games in a few different cities in my day and the Knights' arena definitely provides the most entertainment outside of the actual sporting event. And let's face it, some sporting events are just duds.

I sat through two 18-inning baseball games in my life (LAA in Tor and Astros in Sea) that really coulda used a bit of side-action to keep the entertainment value up. Especially when they stop beer sales after the 8th inning.

Why announce it early. There's no point to saying one thing or the other early. Vegas knew damn well they are dressing the guy on a 4 game winning streak rather than the guy who has only won 6 of his last 16 starts.

You were answering a question I wasn't asking. I wasn't asking why he gave Skinner the starter's net in practice, I was asking why he would wait until game day to announce who was starting.

And your explanation doesn't make sense. If he knew Vegas knew it was Pickard, then why wait to announce it?
