Don't get me wrong, I don't think it'll get us anywhere by any means, but it'll be a blueline that will work harder and possibly even gel better than the ones we've had recently. Suter's contract is designed to keep him off his a** and POJ has that Army Diamond In The Rough feel, which can go either way. I feel good about the line mainly because Krug isn't playing on it.
Yeah I agree.
There are a few IFs, but if these things happen, it could be a decent unit:
- Suter still has gas left in the tank to be a 2nd pairing guy
- Faulk rebounds from last season and plays like he did from 2021-2023
- POJ and Kessel both take another step toward reaching their ceilings
I at least will be looking forward to watching the team this season. I feel like we will see a harder working, grittier team - which I’ll be content with. Faksa, Joseph and Texier up front should also really help us defensively.
