Well if a hockey game was only 20 minutes... Oilers would have a well deserved win after 20 minutes.

Turns out you do have to play closer to 60 minutes of decent hockey to win though.

I don't think the team was awful... but they played just poorly enough to lose.

Definitely a game where they essentially gave away a point by not digging in for the 2nd/3rd periods.

I guess getting 1 point is better than zero points though. Maybe they were looking ahead to the Leafs matchup on Saturday... hopefully they can find some finish and give a better 60 minute effort in that one.

Yeah not the reason we lost but that goaltending in the shootout was horrendous. He was beaten cleanly and was in poor position on each . He needs to practice e breakaways

Nah we have one of the top defenses in the league. Skinner is just a meh goalie and very streaky.

Like I said in the GDT. Everyone needs to score more goals that isn't Leon.

And Skinner in a shootout is an auto-loss. Which IMO, does speak to his ability, at least somewhat.

I'm sure Drai is noticing. His Wingers have a combined 10 goals all season. Getting a little tired of that. Wish we could get rid of the Arvid contract. What a useless f***. All the guy does in a game is get injured every game. Its like drama every game with him being tossed around.
