If you wanna get into POE now is the perfect time with poe 2 just launching into EA. Nows a good time before they start adding even more game mechanics and what not.

Im a new player and have been enjoying it very much. Just made it to Act 2 on my HC lightning Sorc.

Big patch nuked a ton of builds based around ‘Cast on X’. The cost of respec is so high, a lot of players are finding themselves forced to start new characters after a ton of hours invested.

You’re not really an EA player, you have to consider yourself more of a “play tester”. Things are going to get buffed and nuked over the coming months. Having to start a new character shouldn’t be all that shocking

I agree.

But it’s not something Im interested in, so Im waiting for the full release.

One thing thats bugging me about PoE2 is that theres still no currency dropping. I played all day today and i dont think a single useful currency has dropped for me to help upgrade my rare items.

Only reason why i had some useful currency was because i farmed the beetle for like 2 hours yesterday and now that farm is fixed. Its to the point where i might just start an alt to get more before i proceed

I think the game is trying to push us into using the currency exchange.

Im not too sure you can use that in SSF but i could be wrong.

I use it. You get access to it in Cruel and End Game. It's easy to get some of the harder to find currency.

Yes im well aware which is why i was asking them if they were on HCSSF because i am. So therefore the info i was getting would be wrong and wanted to clarify.
