Depth from a pacific team
I’ll go Blake Coleman
"only career third/fourth liners"
Scored 30 goals on Calgary's second line just last season.
My Criteria:
- Must be 25+ OR have 250+ NHL games played
- Must average no more than 15m/game as a FWD or 18m/game as a D
- If, in my estimation, they will end the season with more minutes per game than outlined above, I will disqualify them
From Boston - Trent Frederic
From Buffalo - Jason Zucker
From Detroit - Michael Rasmussen (imo Copp will avg 15+ mins by end of year)
From Florida - Nate Schmidt
From MTL - Jake Evans (Newhook imo will avg 15+ mins by end of year)
From TB - Zemgus Girgensons
From Toronto - Timothy Liljegren
For Ottawa, I take Liljegren. His fanboys overrate him but he would add a lot of stability to our 3rd pair. Evans would fill a big hole on the 4th line, too.
Realistically, though, I just want a good backup. How has Korpi been in Boston?
So you're saying he wasn't on the Flames second line last season?so he got moved up
17, 15, 14, 15, 14 TOI avg over the past few seasons
that is a 3rd liner
So you're saying he wasn't on the Flames second line last season?
Liljegren is probbaly who I'd pick, but I'd also consider Peeke or Stolarz. The problem would be the cap.
If the cap exists, I'd go with Nick Perbix.
Strategy to get 1st overall again?I'll take Reaves and put him on the ice with Xhekaj all game.
Stolarz definitely isn’t the clear backup for the Leafs at this point. Even before yet another Woll injury I think everyone envisioned more of a proper tandem.
Sounds like a great plan. Enjoy some WWE along the wayStrategy to get 1st overall again?
2 pages in and not a single pick for Connor Sheary.
Wow.
