I can't believe we're going to put Boll in the lineup. I don't like it, this is where I wish we had more skilled depth. Who's better, an injured Umby or a healthy Boll? I'm sure that question will go over well.

I kinda like that idea, but on the 4th line, not third...have him be a hybrid forward, like the left wing lock, a third defensemen but can jump in the play without getting caught like he usually does!

He'll do things that are worthy of a penalty. Now, whether they actually end up getting called or not is quite another matter.

We'll have Horton next year, but yeah, we need one more top six right winger - one with a high shooting percentage that can convert one-on-one chances. (I thought Foligno was a left winger? Letestu plays on the right side?)

Boll hasn't been treated as a 4th line 8 minute guy in a long time - this entire season and probably beyond that. Anything you have to suggest that he's not a poor man's Comeau in Richards eyes is manufactured. He's there to take a few shifts, fight, and maybe draw a penalty with some physical play. He'll play 5 or six minutes on a lot of nights when he hasn't been in a fight. Other teams notice him and not for his skill.

Other than that he's been buried.

Letestu and MacKenzie he has confidence in. Boll, please. I see nothing to suggest that he has any more or less confidence than Tropp.

Boll will be lucky to get 7 minutes tonight.

I'd have put Boll in for Comeau, but you can't really do that now, with Umberger not going. Despite his boneheaded-ness, I think Comeau stays in over Tropp or Frattin, who I'm just not convinced wouldn't be overwhelmed.

Me too, he cost us that 2nd goal Saturday. I'm a Boll supporter but he was a step slow in Game 1, hoping he comes out skating better, he is a good skater when totally healthy, we'll see. I like the idea that he will disrupt things around the net and get people like Neal and Letang off their game. We need more scrums and hopefully he brings that.

I know this is about the most cliche speech ever and is far overused, but it applies to tonight's game moreso than any game this team has ever played. Tonight we need the inches that we weren't willing to work for the other night, or it's season over.

"Either we heal, as a team, or we will die as individuals". Going to be a long offseason if we don't have a better effort. Let's Go Jackets!

This team has already done more than any other Blue Jackets team before them and look at the way the city has responded to just two playoff wins.

I'll be bummed if they lose tonight, but only because this group is so likable and fun and it'll be sad to see it come to an end, but there's a bright future here. I don't want to watch baseball yet.

I have an odd confidence about winning the game tonight though. I think our crowd will be a factor and I think we respond in a big way. 4-2 good guys in our first ever regulation playoff win. Wish I could go.
