I live in Charlotte and when I go out to a sports bar and ask the waitress if she can get the game on, I always ask if she has ever heard of the Blue Jackets and every time they say no. I think it has much more to do with how abysmal we've been over the first 14 years so rather than a lack of hockey knowledge. If we get better and make the playoffs consistently, then people will know who we are.

Oh it's a lack of hockey knowledge or just a case of being too stupid to function. I know where every team in the NHL is and if you claim to follow hockey, you do as well.
