The nice thing is that Bob generally has a strong bounce back game after a poor showing.

The team in general responds to losses, especially in important games down the stretch, and being on the road doesn't seem to matter too much to these guys. I'm holding onto that characteristic of them, because I am way too nervous about this game.

Damn I wish Foligno didn't get hurt. The difference I think he brings to our team(mainly Johansen) is one of the most overlooked stories of the NHL playoffs so far.

I will be at a wedding tonight and will have to miss the game. I've never been more upset with this friend.

I'll be the weirdo at the reception sitting at a table listening to the game on my phone.

Otherwise, I have a much better feeling about this game than I did game one because I know better what to expect. Game one could've gone much worse than it did.

So... what now? Tropp for some speed and maybe some hands? Boll for some body and experience? Or maybe even Frattin in the hopes he does something?
I have a feeling it will be Boll back in the lineup. When they said Foligno was out previously, I want to say I saw someone wrote that Umberger was replacing Tropp and I think that poster got that from Portzline. But that was a couple of days ago, Richards could have changed his mind by then.

Most fans prefer Boll to sit right?

I say Tropp over Boll because Tropp MIGHT beable to score or create scoring chances as well as hit people. Where as Boll, he will hit but don't think he will create any scoring chances. Sure Boll brings in experience but Umberger is coming back and he has experience.

*Boll is one of my fav players but for now, team over player. If it means sitting out one of my favs for the team to succeed, so be it.

I can see it now...

And do you, Mr. Heinze's friend, take Mrs. Heinze's friend to be your lawfully wedded wife?

****ING RIGHT, CROSBY! YOU SUCK!

And I don't think anyone will blame you.

Despite always defending Boll, I agree with leaving Tropp in, Boller is a step slow from the injury still.

Agreed here. I thought Boll was a liability with the puck last game, whereas Tropp showed some gumption and was a battler. Play the better player.

Only change I wish we could make tonight is put either Prout or Schultz in for either Savard or Nikitin. Just to keep that 3rd pairing fresh. Not going to happen I don't think, but I wasn't the biggest fan of either 6 or 58 the other night.

At any rate, Go Jackets!!! Tonight belongs to us!

Stay out of the box + Bob being back to normal self = victory.

Prediction: Pens first line produces, but the rest of the team does nothing and CBJ grinds them down. MAF looks shaky again. 4-2 CBJ, the 4th being an empty netter.

Totally agree. Boll was underwhelming in the first game. I think he'd be more effective in a series against the Flyers or the Rangers.
