Why is Tom Wilson in this poll? His contract is fair, if not an actual bargain. He leads Caps forwards in ice time most games, plays all situations, is pacing for a 30G-30A season, and hasn't even been suspended yet this year. And his team is in 1st place.
In the order I voted : Stephenson, Couturier, Huberdeau, Nurse, Jones. Considered Seguin due to his age (32 at the end of January) and recurrent health issues, but I can see him being productive for the two seasons left on his deal.
I think poll-maker could have helped voters out by listing how long all these contracts run for.

Jones looked pretty good this year, well decent before his foot injury. Going to be some recency bias there but I’m still voting for him but more like 5th worst on this list.
Nurse looks good this year but does that mean he is going to stay that way? I don’t think so with his track record. So he gets a vote.
Hube gets a vote. I know he is looking like a 75 point player or whatever but It’s a ton of money.
Severson. Looks bad on paper so I threw him a vote but I would like to hear from CBJ fans because I’ve only seen them play about 5 times in the last couple years.
I’m torn on the last one, also damn you for not including years left I had to look all this shit up.

OP, please edit the poll options to include years remaining on current deal.
Meanwhile I just learned that Couturier's deal lasts for another 6 years (takes him to 38 years old), and that Cal Petersen is still on the books this season for almost 4m (should probably be a poll option as well). Ouch.

Yea I don't get this one either. Hes on pace for a career high points wise. As of today it's a fine contract, 8.5mn is good value for a player like him.
