Kind of shocking that four games deep into the Final it's still all breakaways and broken plays. It's fun but goddamn, can't anyone take care of the details anymore? Carolina's D can't stop themselves from playing too deep in the o-zone and Vegas just seems to lose focus (which I'm sure Tortorella loves  ).

This pretty much sums up the series so far. Just one bad shift in the 3rd lost the game for Vegas tonight.

Staal is doing great. Eichel not so much. Staal 5 key goals in this series, Eichel 2 these playoffs.
Canes 4 for 11 on the PP, Vegas 1 for 11. In addition the canes score their goals just after Vegas PPs. Last game a breakaway just after their PP but the goalie stopped it.

Canes right back to having all five guys down by the goal line on the first shift -- gotta admire the aggressiveness even as you're wondering what the hell they're doing.

They actually backed off quite a lot after I said that, and finally shut down the stream of odd man rushes against. Anything can happen in a two game sample, but Carolina finally looks like the better team. Karlsson is a huge loss for VGK if he's out or crippled too.

To me it is still Vegas doing better but not capitalizing on their chances. Hurricanes getting all the bounces. Still, you have to work hard to get those.

This Vegas team is really likeable having everything you want on the roster.

PS I still can't belive we let Gostisbehere go. He has everything you want in your PMD. We could have made playoffs 2 out of 3 times with him.

Since Vegas did lead 4-0... that game3 (they still won)...

... Canes has scored 13 goals and Vegas only 6.

Pretty much series turned around on that moment they did start blowing that 4-goal lead.

Interesting to see if both teams will change goalies during the series... Hart has failed and maybe Hill comes in.

Something to think about also for Wings playoff future. You need 2 options, maybe three like Carolina has (Bussi, Andersen, Kotchetkov).

If Carolina wins, for that do anything to up the chances that Vegas puts together a decent offer for Larkin? I don't see much of interest at the moment, but they have a record of ruthlessly moving assets around to make things happen when they need to.

What is a decent offer? Eichel?

If they are insane, then fine. Give us a gift.

But for any reasonable offer, they don't have younger assets, we would prefer. It's pretty old team.
