The best thing that could ever happen to Bettmans reputation is a Winnipeg-Ottawa final

The media would have to print long articles on how he saved Ottawa and brought the Jets back and it would be the only nice things said about Gary apart from things about money, these articles would be about values and not many people like Bettmans values so it would completely change where his legacy is going which will only be about money

He cares about dollars and cents for the owners more than any legacy of "saving" teams. It'd also be a ridiculous sell to suggest he could rehabilitate his and the league's image when he's expanded to 4-5 southern US markets, two of which failed, in the time he's brought back the Jets (thanms to one of those failures) and suppressed or ignored all attempts to bring back the Nordiques.

He cares about growing the brand and clearly wants that to be his legacy. A cup final with two small market Canadian teams doesn't do that at all.

Tough call, Toronto would be the biggest high if they win and the biggest low if they lose. It would also bring in the most money which could help Andlauer continue to spend big on the team. If they can make it to game 7 history has shown that’s a guaranteed win, Toronto hasn’t won a game 7 since 2004 (don’t worry Lalime won’t be in net this time).

One thing I dont like about the Toronto match up is the timing of this long awaited playoff match up favours them with their core having so much playoff expirience and the Sens core being in there for the first time. Would be better to play them in a few years.

Let's make the playoffs first?

In our past 11 wins, only 2 were against the playoff position holding Teams.

Let's see how January goes for this Team

We have the better goalie, revenge for all those Curtis Joseph and Ed Belfour series where we had the better team but they had the better goalie and goalies us every series. And we have the rats now, Cousins, Greig, Tkachuk.

And what better way to get the full
Playoff experience then the battle of Ontario. It would be epic

Andlauer should do something about that, offer tickets to registered Sens fans.

They should do some low key playoff ticket registry to keep Leaves fans out, and it would piss Leaves fans off because their Dads couldn’t buy them tickets, which would be the main reason to do it.
