I know many people are up in tears about Briere being put on the 4th line. But think for a minute. Instead of telling what YOU think should be, try to figure out why Therrien would put up that line.

3 words comes to mind:

1- Speed
2- Speed
3- Speed

I don't think it's really surprising to see that Therrien put our arguably fastest centre alongside our two fastest wingers.

Therrien probably want a 4th line that will buzz around the Bolts' defense and create chances that way. With Briere on the 2nd PP line, it also makes sure he gets some quality partners.
