When you think about it the only real stinker was that Ottawa game.
I didn't think about it then but the team had a let down after coming off a huge win against Detroit that did everything but punch our ticket.
And for everyone speculating on Suzuki having a concussion go watch the highlights of the goals we scored last evening.
That's not a guy skating with a concussion.

The teams already eliminated often give up too (especially the vets, we have seen it before in the last 3 seasons).

But to go from bottom 3 in early December to making the playoffs, the Habs had to wins a lot more games to climb out of the hole.

yeah, I agreed with you. i really wanted us to beat Toronto and rest the vets for the last 2 games. Chicago and Carolina played a AHl team against us. It would have been the perfect moment to rest them.

I hope they have enough energy for the Caps.

This series could get very ugly. Washington is going to make a "point" to hammer our best players. If Washington injures one of them? Gloves are off IMO.

That’s what playoff hockey is, no? There’s nothing to fear that hockey already doesn’t bring imo. Play hard, take your licks and give them when you can but stick to your game plan. You don’t win without battling and getting bruised in the playoffs.

Not to pick on you friend, but this sentiment of physical fear is really starting to annoy me. This is playoff hockey and a lot of Habs have been getting run all season, they’re ready imo.

Yeah I'm not sure where this fear is coming from. We have guys that can really lay the hurt on Washington as well, in fact MTL was 7th in the league for hits whereas Washington was 23rd.

Also have people forgotten last time Wilson threw a big hit on us he got absolutely destroyed in the subsequent fight by Anderson?
