I have been a pro tanker the whole season. But to see them fail to make it now, feel weird. They are so close to making it. I value the extra 4+playoff games over drafting 13th OV.

That was one of the dumbest games ever played. One of the Leafs comeback goals literally rode up the side of Latendresse’s ass at the blueline and sailed over everyone’s heads while Huet played it like a ****ing idiot (as he did all blue line shots).

They technically only need 1 point, they don't even need to win. Just get to OT.

But they are getting into the playoffs backward the way they played the last few games regardless of game result (issues were apparent while they were still winning games, recurring issues since the start of the season). Which doesn't bring much confidence for what comes after...or even next season.

If I recall correctly, huet was coming back from a long term injury at that time. It was a tough call who to put in net.

I also remember the leafs getting a shit ton of powerplays.

2009 team limped in and got swept. The team was missing markov in 2010 but I don't recall a huge volume of injuries.
