Seems like Philly is also playing some good hockey lately so I definitely don't think it's a cakewalk for the Jackets. They got outplayed against the Caps but they were opportunistic, got excellent goaltending, and Lindgren shit to bed.

If he's hurt, Habs are cooked. He's been awful the last 3 games. I expect everyone to be bad, but not him. When he is though, it's really glaring. Team has sucked. Losing to the Hawks (again) was not an acceptable outcome Imo. As much as I want them in the playoffs, it's embarrassing not being able to close the deal like this.

If the doomsday scenario happens it will be disappointing but not disastrous in the grand scheme of things. We’ve overachieved no matter what. And a failure early on isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It will serve as motivation going forward. It’s not ideal, I want us to make it but there are positives to be taken from failure.

Next year Demidov and RB will be with us a full year and we’ll hopefully have a solid second center. Next year I’d say we make the playoffs and grow from there.

I just want the team to show up in game 82. We seem out of gas and that makes sense considering the schedule. It’s all on the line now though. Leave it all on the ice.
