One thing for sure: we found our ultra elite forward. That 4 on 4 was a masterpiece a la McDavid. He did everything. He was just super elite. I have never seen such a player in Mtl since my beloved number 10.

It's also very concerning for a young team to not find that killer instinct in even 1 of the last 4 games. You're supposed to find that extra step your game when it matters the most, especially if you want to play in the Stanley Cup playoffs. We haven't seen even a glimpse of that extra step.

You’re right — we’ve been two steps behind in these last few games. Even the Hawks were controlling our zone, cycling like crazy. We haven’t been able to get any kind of cycle going lately
