You know what I think it's fitting we get in with a CBJ loss.

CBJ nuked a trade offer from Davidson which would have stolen Demidov from us

CBJ then decides to pass on Demidov just so we can keep him.

Next, CBJ loses next game to help Habs make the playoffs <3

To quote greatest Homer Simpson: "It's just a little dirty, it's still good, it's still good".
Not the greatest game. First 2 goals really meet me feel good about our future. Regardless how this ends ( and our chances are still good) I am 1000% proud how the team turned around and did the impossible: a possible run in playoffs out of nowhere

The team's embarrassing themselves. The only 2 goals we have over the last 6 period+2 OTs were thanks to a rookie in his NHL debut.

The entire roster is showing 0 drive to clinch a spot and Marty's making baffling decisions left, right and center.

The team played 5 in 8 and back to backs this weekend. I think they're just flat out tired.

MTL for over a week has played not to lose. MTL for the last week has been coached by someone to not lose

Columbus is going for it. Thats the frustrating thing.

The mentality is disturbing. They had a chance vs an undermanned Sens team and wilted. Toronto game barely generate good chances. Tonight, again half the roster is lifeless

At this point you hope Columbus loses because the team hasnt shown they can close it out

We’re still in a great position. CBJ has to win two games, and we just need to take the next one to overtime.

That team isn’t built for the playoffs — we all knew it. It’s still a great sign of growth that we’re where we are right now.

It's also very concerning for a young team to not find that killer instinct in even 1 of the last 4 games. You're supposed to find that extra step your game when it matters the most, especially if you want to play in the Stanley Cup playoffs. We haven't seen even a glimpse of that extra step.

You’re right — we’ve been two steps behind in these last few games. Even the Hawks were controlling our zone, cycling like crazy. We haven’t been able to get any kind of cycle going lately
