I don't think it's that complicated.

Zibanejad has a weird ass body morphology on skates. Look at him and you'll see what I mean, he could be wearing a generic jersey with no number and I could point him out with no issues. Their run was unsustainable with that freak as their number 1C.

We do because we have significantly more ROW which is the second tiebreaker. That's why 1 regulation win clinches for us. Columbus has 6 shootout wins to our 2 so they have only 31 ROW currently to a max of 34. We're already at 37 because we win games in overtime.
