We do. A regulation win against Ottawa eliminates all of them: NYR, NYI, Detroit & Columbus - that's assuming NYR wins the NYI game. It's 5-1 Rangers in the 3rd.

Columbus can only get a maximum of 89 points, 30 RWs. Montreal can achieve that with a regulation win tomorrow moving the tie breaker to ROWs, which we lead by a lot.

Detroit, NYR & NYI will all be eliminated with one point, as they can only top out at 87 points, which Montreal is already at.

It's in our hands. Win in regulation tomorrow and we clinch with 3 games left in season.
I don’t want to catch the Sens, but I also want to clinch and let Armia and Savard rest.

Habs only need 2 if those 2 points are obtained via a regulation win. 2 ot losses wouldn't be enough though

Both are kind of true.....2 points won't be enough if they are not in regulation depending on how Columbus wins those games...... so technically to be 100% certain to make the PO, the Habs need 3 points., even if the 3 points comes in OT, it will be enough.

Let's just win in regulation tomorrow to end the race and its associated calculations 😀

Looking at the schedule, we could clinch before the Leafs game even if we lose tomorrow.

Wings could be eliminated with a loss against TB tomorrow.

Saturday in afternoon
Cbj receive Was
Nyi play at Flyers
NyR play at Canes

All tough games (even the Flyers one).

Would prefer a reg win tomorrow though 😀

Let’s hope so.

Honestly I know you guys will clinch no matter what but Tkachuk will be out tomorrow it’s pretty much a guarantee. Word is they’ve shut him down for the rest of the season. Maybe he plays the last game of the season. He’s not been skating for a week.

Nick Jensen is also rumoured to potentially sit for a few.

Flashscore gave me a heart attack for a second lol.
