Their president had to step in and be interim GM for a couple weeks and he screwed that franchise so hard. I don't understand how Mcdavid watches how poorly that team is run and would want to re-sign for the rest of his career, even with Draisaitl.

I'll give credit to McDavid, he did right by the Oilers: he signed an 8 yr deal at a price point that wasn't crippling. If he leaves, I won't blame him. He's given them 10 years (11 by the end of his deal) to get their sh*t together.

Blue Jackets really want Montreal to earn it.

So, is it 2 or 3 points we need. Who has the tie-breaker vs CBJ ?

Shouldn't count on the Caps to beat CBJ either. Caps will rest their players and not care like all the top teams at this time of the year.

It will depend how Columbus wins those games (Overtime or regulation)
Habs need 3 points.....either by Columbus losing points or them getting points.

We do. A regulation win against Ottawa eliminates all of them: NYR, NYI, Detroit & Columbus - that's assuming NYR wins the NYI game. It's 5-1 Rangers in the 3rd.

Columbus can only get a maximum of 89 points, 30 RWs. Montreal can achieve that with a regulation win tomorrow moving the tie breaker to ROWs, which we lead by a lot.

Detroit, NYR & NYI will all be eliminated with one point, as they can only top out at 87 points, which Montreal is already at.

It's in our hands. Win in regulation tomorrow and we clinch with 3 games left in season.
