He looks like a quality 2nd line offensive player. I can see him being a steady 25g, 50 pt guy who brings speed, forechecking in the middle 6.

He's not eligible for an offer sheet, so it'll be interesting to see what he signs for this year.

Florida's drafted fairly well for their positions. That and they've leveraged their prospects impressively. Knight for Jones, Heineman for Bennett, Levi for Reinhart. They add Lundell and Samoskevich, two different styles of players, but that fit needs for their club. They can also now leverage their weather and tax advantage as the team has strong leadership and keeps winning. Zito's in a real good position.

Lundell is fantastic.

Did not like his skating during his draft year, but he's improved his speed significantly. The thing with armchair scouting is you can't talk and see these players in person. It's tough to know who's underdeveloped, who understands their weaknesses, what plan they have in place, etc. The hockey IQ and skills were always there though.

I'll never forget last year when they were throwing a party after every goal against us in the final game only for Torts to cockblock them and pull the goalie when their game was tied to crush the Wings dreams. Just beautiful.

Their president had to step in and be interim GM for a couple weeks and he screwed that franchise so hard. I don't understand how Mcdavid watches how poorly that team is run and would want to re-sign for the rest of his career, even with Draisaitl.

If I'm him, I sign a short deal with any of Dallas, Florida or TB, depending on who fits the playstyle better. Just get your cup. It's insane that the best player since Lemieux has the worst management since Milburry.
