CBJ and NYR seem to have bowed out, but now we have DET and NYI on win streaks keeping us honest.

DET have a tough calender after MTL aswell. They play against FLA, TB, NJ, DAL and TOR.
Only DAL is at Detroit home.

So now the only team that has any semblance of dethroning the Habs for that WC2 spot is probably the islanders. Because the Wings schedule is absolute disgusting: Habs, Panthers, Bolts, Stars, Devils, Leafs. Geez!

At this point the only real threat is Detroit. With the way the Rangers have been playing there's absolutely no chance they catch us.

We could officially eliminate CBJ tomorrow if we beat Detroit and Sens beat CBJ in regulation 
Plus Florida is missing all their good players.
I can only go by what they said. You would expect broadcasters to provide accurate info.

Ouf... Isles magic number is 6, which is brutal with 6 games left. If they lose 4 points out of 12, habs only need to win once.

I hope we start well tomorrow. Also, discipline will be key. 5 on 5 we are better than them. Wings have a very good powerplay that is pretty much the only reason why they are still in the mix.

I think I misunderstood the broadcasters, I think they haven't won more than 2 in a row since November. What i heard is that they hadn't won 2 straight since November, a slight difference
Islanders still play the Rangers and Columbus this season. So they will stick close (well one or two of them), but I don't see any of these winning all their remaining games.

I'm operating under the presumption that isles go 4-1-1 and wings go 3-2-1. That puts them at 87 and 86 pts respectively. Therefore if Habs get 3 points in the next 5 games, they pretty much clinch. So a 1-3-1 record would even suffice tbh
