With an Avs win, we'd have a bit of breathing room from the Jackets. Still worried about the Rangers, especially with the refs on their side.
They have devils in the afternoon saturday. Devils hanging in therr with key injuries. Rags also have tb x2,florida and carolina as the tough games but e of them are later so they might not mean much for car,tb and fla. Going to be tight

Shesterkin worries me because he has been ass but is the type of goalie who can just get back to back shutouts anytime. We need more from the 2nd and 4th line because expecting Suzuki to get multipoint games every game is unreasonable.

Columbus has officially lost 7-3 to Colorado. They're 4 points back now, but still have a game in hand. I'm not counting them out yet.

Detroit is 6 points back with a game in hand & a game still against Montreal. It's probably over for them, but I'm not counting them done quite yet. Wings host Carolina tomorrow night. If they lose that game, they're done.

Islanders are definitely done. 7 points back. It's been fun, but it's maybe next year for the Islanders.

Rangers are still breathing down our necks. 2 pts back, same gp, but they hold the tie breaker.

We need to win Saturday vs Philadelphia and hope NYR lose on the road in New Jersey. Columbus is playing in Toronto on Saturday.

I remember Suzuki saying his objective this year was to be a PPG player. Totally delivered. Feels good to have a forward carrying the team on his shoulders for once (props to Hutson as well).

It's between us and the Rangers. Columbus goalies are too trash to make it. Rangers schedule is harder than ours though.

I was happily in the tank thread earlier this year and I still don't like MSL as a coach. That said, it's been a while since every goal gets the happy dance out of me.

Habs back on track to reach 89 pts.....that's better than the prorated 86 pts (59 in 56 games) to make the playoffs in 2021.

Rangers on track for 86 pts still. They need to win 1 more games in regular time and get a OT lost to overtake the Habs for WC2 (since they have the tiebraker and not enough games left for the Habs to catch up their RW).

The Habs can't really stop winning if they hope to make it.
