  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

McGuire was saying yesterday word around the league amongst scouts, is Dobes is very vulnerable to high SOG due to subpar positional awareness - his anticipation in G is viewed as very weak so he reverts to dropping down too fast
I think it's fair to say, every goalie in the league gets beaten up high.......every single one....

Not feeling very positive.

Every game at this point is supposed to be the biggest game of the season, but our two most recent 1st periods we've looked like a peewee team vs team Canada. We've handed both New York teams an opportunity to overtake us now.

Let down game after the emotional rush of Saturday night...

Happens.

Nice thing is that sens lost, red wings are losing... just need Rangers to lose on the road against the hot Kings.

How they bounce back Thursday will be huge as far as setting tone for the stretch. Can't afford to go on a long losing streak this time of year.

Looking at the teams in playoffs spots or close to them, they all have fewer goals against then the Habs. Don't understand why Montembault is played until he struggles. He plays much better when he's rested, which is pretty much the same for most goaltenders, especially one playing behind a young d corps. If they believe in Dobes they should play him, if not give Primeau a shot as well as he's played since being sent down (maybe not a coincidence he's found his game getting to play more).

If they are serious about making the playoffs this season or going forward and making some noise when they get there would be wise to have two goaltenders they have confidence in sharing the load in my opinion.

LOL Listening to l'Antichambre they said the Rangers had 2 shots after one against LA.
Unfortunately they are now up 1-0. A win knocks us off our pedestal and with Anaheim and San Jose on their dance card all of a sudden wins are worth more than games in hand.

It's just one goal, although Rangers are now out shooting Kings 8-3 in 2nd period.

Well, do they identify as a team that wants to make the playoffs or do they identify as a team that doesn't want to make the playoffs?lol

It was a bad game. Every team is owed one once in a while. But they have to stop playing Monty like he's 2011 Price. Dobes should've started vs Colorado. He should start vs the flyers. And he should start vs one of the canes or Panthers. Guhle should take mathesons spot and Matheson needs to take either xhekaj or Savard spot. That pairing (mostly due to Savard) is brutal. Next sit Armis for a game or two, he's obviously hurting. Start preparing for the games better
