Playoffs Positivity Thread

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Big win by the Pens. CBJ has really been dog shit down the stretch. Not sure what happened to them. They've seemed to have completely lost their offensive game. They've been shut-out 4 of their last 8 games.

They're 2-7-1 in March. Although, somehow Detroit & Philadelphia have been worse (2-8-0 for both).

Anyways, we need them to stop losing now. Their next game is @ NYI on Monday. We need CBJ to win that game.

Werenski, Fantilli and Marchenko haven't gotten a single points in 5 games. 🧐

I suspect they are simply easy to shutdown with their injuries to vets.

I think on 32 thoughts they said Columbus has been good at home but awful on the road this year and they have a lot of road games to finish the year. Doesn't explain the recent losses cause they've lost 4 in a row at home but given where they're at and how they've been on the road this year they face an uphill battle for sure.

I think the weight of it all with the tragedy has made the adrenaline go away and they are out of juice. Monahan hurt doesn't help them either

Our depth is an issue if both the Habs and rocket are in the playoffs at the same time. We don’t have many extra bodies if injuries happen.

Will be super interesting to see what management does

Huge win by the Pens.
Hopefully Vancouver and the Flames can get it done against the Rangers and Isles tomorrow.
Edit: my dumbass didn’t realize Pens were playing against CLB.

IMO its a 5 horses race for the last WC spot.

Vancouver @ NYR starts now (1 PM). Rags are on a 4 game home stand and have gone 0-3. Canucks need a point to get back into WC2. Rangers can tie Montreal in points with a win but Montreal will have 3 games in hand.

Calgary @ NYI: This game is at 4 PM. Calgary winning this game would be a HUGE help to Montreal. A NYI win & a Montreal loss today gives Islanders WC2.

Detroit @ Vegas: Wings are hanging on by a thread. They're 4 points out. A loss will have them counting down elimination possibilities. Game is at 8 PM

Senators @ Devils: Sens have lost 2 consecutive games. If they lose again tonight, they'll be dragged down into the quagmire of the wild race again. 7 PM game.
