Will the Habs make the playoffs?

I think from a perspective of competing and also maximizing our opportunities to assess players and who might not stick around I would do the following moves:

Send Beck down
Call-up Roy (who would have gotten the call instead of Beck first time around if he wasn't hurt apparently) or Farrell
Put Newhook at C

That way you can see how Newhook does at C as Dvo's potential replacement and you can also evaluate Roy or Farrell before potentially dealing them this summer for a 2C. Roy IIRC had chemistry with Newhook.
Hughes reads my posts. E4

Stupid Detroit loses to Ottawa. Out shot them 49-23, too, but Ullmark wasn't having any of it.

Ottawa is @ Philadelphia tomorrow, which I expect them to win, so they will be 7 pts up on Montreal by the time the Vancouver game starts. Habs will have a game in hand.

Columbus is @ NJD tomorrow, and I also expect them to win that game as New Jersey is really faltering right now.

That means Montreal will be 6 pts back of a playoff spot again before Vancouver game.

In any case, the target may be switching to New Jersey anyway. Even though we're 8 pts back, we'll hold 3 games in hand on them.

NJD have a decently hard schedule, while Sens have a cake walk schedule.
