They need a real #1.

Sorry i thought I was already witnessing greatness unfold with Hutson.. He's making history and still gets no respek.

So far tonight:

Buffalo up 2-0 on Sens. Good job, but Sabres are known to blow leads.

Boston vs TB: need Bruins to lose obviously. 0-0 end of 1.

Stars 2-0 over Flyers in 1st..👍

Pens leading Oilers 4-1 after 1. OK, that's a bit of a shock. Lol Skinner having one of his infamous nights, I'm guessing. Oilers can come back. We'll see if they do.

Seattle & Columbus are tied 1-1. I like CBJ, so hoping they get in at the expense of Boston/Ottawa and not us.

NYI are @ Vegas later tonight. We want a Vegas win.

So right now it looks like this if tonight’s games finish this way:

Cbj 2 games over .500
Habs, Pitts, Boston, Ott 1game over .500
Det at.500

Other teams look to be falling behind a bit but I still fear the NYR as they should be way better.

It will be thight guys.
With tonight loss, the Bruins should be in the picture.

All those teams needs to play .600 the remaining of the season to get ~92 pts.

Note that the Habs have been playing .800 in the last 10.

We’re tied with the Sens. Otherwise we’re ahead of anyone else vying for both Wild Cards (if we win our games in hand).

Columbus should be affected by Monahan being out for a while with a wrist injury.

Bit of a mixed bag tonight, but the positive is when sorted by P% we are tied for the 2nd WC spot with Ottawa.

Columbus 0.524
Ottawa 0.513
Montreal 0.513
Pittsburgh 0.512
Boston 0.511

So things are still very much in our own hands.

Bruins are cooked. They'll be absolute bottom feeding trash in 2-3 seasons. They got a small morale bump when Sacco came in but they are what they are. Just a poorly constructed roster propped up by 1 star, a couple overrated defensemen, and some over the hill complementary players.

It's a beautiful sight.

Good news we didn't lose any ground tonight in terms of placement. We still sit 11th. We're 3 pts back of WC2, but with 2 games in hand.

The real target is Boston, though. TB finally passed them. It was inevitable. Bruins in WC1 only 4 pts ahead and we have 4 games in hand on them. We have a better points percentage than Bruins now, too.

Ottawa is really struggling with Ullmark out.

CBJ are playing really well, though. 7-2-1 last 10. Won 3 consecutive games.

The next 2 games for Montreal are against 2 really tough teams on a back-to-back: Washington then Dallas. We'll see how the Habs do.
