Nyquist is the surprising high one for me.

xGF% isn't really a stat I like, but I think others like to use it. It was just the one stat that stood out as one player standing out in a bad way.

TBF the 4th line was better than the 2nd and 3rd lines in G1.

I don't like the fit but maybe Rossi will make it a mismatch if VGK runs 4th line against 4th line?

The only one that is relatable to Rossi is Freddy G. They aren't playing Rossi as a wing, nor are they playing Foligno/Nyquist/MarJo at center.

JEE and Hartman both looked better at center than Freddy G and Rossi in G1.

Off the top of my head, he was the worst in terms of CF%, FF%, and SF%. Foligno had the worse xGF%.

I'm shocked seeing Rossi on the 4th line. Thats the guy who carried this team along side with boldy for 2/3 of the season. He's scored 60p this season. What does Hynes expect when he puts the most talented C on the roster onto the 4th line with f***ing trenin & Brazeau?

In fairness to Hynes, the Rossi who scored most of those 60 points is not the Rossi we've been getting recently.

I actually liked Brazeau's game against Vegas, and I hope he continues playing like that. That 4th line was our 2nd best line that game, so if they continue playing that well this could nearly be construed as a promotion for Rossi in regard to linemate quality.

The line played "well" largely because of the guy that isn't on it anymore.

Mostly true. Brazeau and Trenin also performed better than they typically do which, to be honest, is a low bar.

Zucc-Rossi-Nyquist
Trenin-Freddy-Brazeau

Three lines that are a threat. Kap is with a guy to help carry the puck and Hartman who has been playing well.

I actually couldn't disagree more. I think they wanted to promote Hartman and he's the usual guy that goes the other way.

And they can't move Hartman to wing because we have nobody that can move to the middle. So it's either Rossi or Gaudreau, and Gaudreau still gets the benefit of the doubt.

These late starts are actually preferable for us Europeans. Just need to wake up 1-2 hours earlier than normally.

It would get tricky if any of these games had multiple overtimes though.

I naturally go to bed at like 2-3AM, so I’ve never had a problem with late games. I guess that’s the only positive to insomnia

Zucc is just so absolutely f***ing useless away from Kap though. There is nowhere in the lineup he makes sense to even dress if he ain’t stapled to Kap
