I hope Staal is ok. He had that thing with his hand, then suddenly I felt like we started seeing him less than we otherwise would’ve in a game as close as it was.

Those charts just don't do much for me. Timo Meier had a ton of chances, but I don't give him as much credit for what he created when he so often failed to convert. Sean Walker is rated very highly but I thought he was our worst defender overall for the series. I know a lot of you will say Burns but Burns got tougher assignments and I think was better overall. Slavin was our best defender overall, but Ghost was comically good in game 5. He clearly reads hfboards.

I thought that same thing- late in the game they showed a graphic that he had taken like 18 faceoffs compared to Hischier’s like 30 something. Seemed real weird to me that staal had taken so few

Staal played 23 minutes and took 27 faceoffs.

He might be hurt but he did play a lot

It was more that Hischier had taken so many. Our faceoffs were much more spread out among our 4 centers. Hischier took like 60% of Jersey's draws.
