Robinson has been great IMO, particularly last night and he’s been head and shoulders above both Roslovic and Carrier. I think Roslovic with Robinson and Carrier completely neuters what that line is all about.

They were great in game 1, Roslovic especially.

If they get caught against a good line on the road it’s gonna be a bad time. Jankowski mitigates that to some degree.

I still find it unlikely that Rod would scratch any healthy D for Nikishin. Ghost was a pylon on D, but the PP did gets 2 goals last night. I could see us going 11F 7D. Carrier has been completely invisible outside of doing bad thinks like taking penalties. Sit his ass. At the very least replace him or Roslovic with Janks.

Uncle Mike's History Corner: The Whalers only played one double OT ever (game 7 vs MTL in 1992). It was the final playoff game in Whalers history and the only time the Whalers played in May.

I had to look up 1986 because I know that series with MTL went 7 and it was the division round.

Game 7 was April 29th. On another note their sweep vs Quebec was the last 3-game sweep until 2020 (Canes over Rangers)

It’s the playoffs. Teams aren’t simply going to roll over just because they’re banged up. And nothing has happened that wasn’t predicted before the series began. We came out strong at home in Game 1, won a close one in Game 2 after Jersey adjusted, and then Jersey won a game at home. We’ll see if we adjust tomorrow.
