I’m gravely concerned for the first time this season. If Ekholm can’t go we aren’t winning anything. This team if it can get 100% healthy can easily make a deep run but I’m not sure that’s going to happen. Hope they are just being extremely cautious.

This game was f***ing awesome. The right amount of suspense, McDavid back to his old ways, Pickard redeeming himself, and an empty netter.

Really hope it's nothing serious with Hyman and Ekholm.

As Louie said in his post game comments--he's been impressed with Pickard's win-loss stats but more importantly, impressed with how many huge saves he's made in the last moments of so many games...tonight included. Five star save with a minute and a half to go.

Pickard's contract gets my vote for "best dollar store value on the team."

Hopefully he can do it again in the playoffs and next season. Good signing on the part of Oiler management during the off-season.
