Post-Game Talk: Playoff spot engaged

McDavid is amazing, Pickard is great when it really matters and needs to start game 1 of the playoffs.

And the playoffs is clinched. Hey J-Skins, your going to play in the postseason
He got beat clean on the first goal and was day dreaming on the second a pass to the top of the crease with a shark there he didn’t even react no lateral movement at all and it goes in off Nurse.

He won the game again, he made the massive game clinchers at the end. I don't care that you're sad about Pickard taking the starting job, he's been their best goalie.

Here comes Crott on a Friday night pissing on another Oilers W. Just can't be happy because its Pickard making HUGE stops for the W.

I would laugh react at this but the Stu fanclub reported me for laughing at their inane goaltending takes.

Instead I will say the Oilers clinched and Picks made an unreal game saving save at the end...and you're mad about this? CalgaryPuck is that way ----------------------->

Connor casually putting up 7 points in 2 games since returning from injury

And he just snuck back to second in the league in points per game...only three away from another 100 point season.

This game was f***ing awesome. The right amount of suspense, McDavid back to his old ways, Pickard redeeming himself, and an empty netter.

Really hope it's nothing serious with Hyman and Ekholm.

97th Point for #97 and 97th Point for the Oilers.

Nice to wrap up a playoff spot, but once again the concern is the injury’s to the key guys. At this point we pretty much have to assume that Ekholm is going to be no where near his former self if he’s even able to play in the playoffs. And now we add Hyman to the list as well. Pretty much every injury has been a head scratcher as well, with just weird seemingly minor glitches turning out to be long, lingering injuries.
