Giguere's 2003 playoff run was one for the ages, and he earned every bit of that Conn Smythe trophy that year. He undoubtedly stole the West Final from Minnesota by only giving up 1 goal in a 4-game sweep.

Luongo vs Dallas in 07. I think despite both goalies playing well Dallas was the better team most of the series.

I think a lot of Henrik Lundqvist series wins (some against Washington and Pittsburgh) were due to his goaltending. I have no data to back that up though.

Game 7 Aves laid an egg. I remember it was 3-0 I think, and Cujo wasn't particularly tested.

I recall game 6 the Oilers won handily too.
They really didn't.
I know the 2-0 score looks flattering , but it was 1-0 until Mironov's 3rd period blast (one of only 3 shots the Oilers mustered against Roy that period).
Meanwhile, Cujo made 31 saves includiding 15 in the last period. He absolutely saved their season and forced a game 7.

Shesterkin in 2022.

The Penguins had a +11 xG differential over the Rangers.
This Shesterkin?

He really stole that series. The only reason Rangers won the series is due to the Penguins having to use a 3rd string goalie who couldn't stop a beach ball.

We always see a goaltender maybe steal a game or two in a playoff series but are there any recent examples of a goaltender being the sole reason their team won?

Halak 2010?

Ask me in a week after Skinner gets four straight shutouts and we watch all the Dallas Stars cry in the handshake line.

Crazy part too is he got almost bombarded out of the series too from Games 1-4. And Gallant cost them Game 3 with the pull with Georgiev conceding the weak Danton Heinen GWG. Rangers win game 3 after that pull and I'm almost positive he goes with Georgiev the rest of the series.

As for the OP, yeah there's not much besides Halak in 2010.

Would be interesting to wonder if they still trade Georgiev. Also the 2022 playoffs are why I have trust issues. We play against Pittsburgh well all year and frankly luck out against them not looking like a playoff team for much of the series defensively. Then we Carolina who had our number all year and we shut them down. Even in the games they won they didn't get much offensively.

2001-2002 Patrick Lalime allowed 2 goals in 5 games against Philly. Beats '13 Rask by 1 game.

Pretty similar to Oettingers losing effort from 21-22. When he faced 44 shots per game and finished with a .955 sv% in 7 games, but in this case they lost in 7 games. .949 sv% in those 4 losses.
