If Hank leave NYR, it would be for a real contender. A chance at The Ring would be the only and sole reason not to retire as an Ranger. He would love to reunite with Zucc though. Lundquist broke and cried when asked about his feelings when Zucca was traded. Zucc was a success with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn in Dallas. In two RS games, he was 1+2 for 3 points, before he broke his wrist, when blocking a shot, then came back in the PO, and scored 4 +7 for 11 points in 13 games, whit the wrist not fully recovered. He needed pain treatment to play. As a small player, he benefits from good players. That said, he need to play where he is most useful for the team, and the coach needs to put every player where they have the best options to help the team. Not rewarded or punished for their plays. Bad attitude on the other hand, that's not helpful for anyone or the team. IMOLundqvist has no history or connection with MN. Don't see him being at all desirable for MN either in a hockey, or financial sense. In order to get him we'd have to buy out Dubnyk, than pay him almost twice as much. Makes no sense, unless NYR makes it worth our while, and i think it would be a PR disaster in the making for them.
Edit: Sorry Webster and 2pair. I see now that you already brought up the Hank/Zucc relationship.
