Speculation: Playoff Push Avatars | Ideas Thread

Making it in is a long shot, but they are going for a push and I'm thinking we may as well have some fun with it. I thought the 4 Nations break would be a good time to gather some ideas. If there are multiple, we can create a poll. Loose ideas are a good starting point, proof of concept would be great.

We've had some great ones in the past, and I'm sure we'll find more avvi greatness this year.

I've seen a couple of ideas floated already. Post yours and I'll add it to the first post when able.

• Miller Time

I was also thinking of a "Thank you, Sam" theme, but I think we should save it for if we get in.

I hate AI art, but it can be good for proofs of concept. How about a yellow cab "crashing into the playoffs" theme?

I like Saving Private Ryan. But I also don't think it makes sense to make an avatar for the push rather than if we're in it. Kind of looks silly if we miss. And frankly we should be embarrassed and not proud of the push. This team should be firmly in a playoff spot.

I mean,it's been a thing since before before I joined the boards. Not every year, but often enough. One theme for the push and a new theme if they make it in. It's also not about feel proud or embarassed, it's just a bit of fun. But if people don't want to do them or prefer to wait to see if we get closer, that' fine too.

Maybe not in the spirit of the push but f*** this team. "Sam is retiring at the end of the 2025 season, (player x) retired before the 2025 season", with a picture of the player on his ass or something. Once again, not a positive vibe but this team deserves that shit.

And yes I'm aware that I'm being contradictory because I defend the team quite a bit, but overall they've been a disappointment.
