i cant find the order for the semifinals, so i start with this

Have a feeling Denmark may put up more than a fight than expected but will be eventually overwhelmed.

Czechs dig up another heroic performance, go 3-0 up in the first period and hold off Sweden's attempt to come back.

Saros can't save Finland every time, the Americans are coming in with good momentum.

Austria give their usual big performance in the Alpine derby, may even score first but Switzerland will assert themselves in time.

The seedings posted are indeed correct, which would produce those semifinalists assuming they all win, yes.

Edit: small caveat is that they're the seedings listed on the Wikipedia page for the playoff round, and while Wikipedia is usually a good place to find such information, it does occasionally burn you with having incorrect information. However, the only one I can't say for 100% certainty on my own is that there's a tiny chance that the seeding of Canada and Switzerland are reversed, although I am reasonably sure that Canada is 1 and Switzerland is 2 based on goal difference (just not with 100% certainty). 3-8 are clear cut.

I made a tiny edit to my post speculating that there's a tiny chance of Switzerland being seeded higher than Canada, but I highly doubt it.

See-sawing game I expect, though I am perhaps at my peril writing the Swedes off again, such was the ruthlessness of their treatment of Czechia...

well, my predidtions was TOTALLY bad.

I shall make my predictions for the semifinals and medal games:

Switzerland over Denmark
Sweden over United States

Denmark won't have the same magic in them as they did against Canada. The United States will get tossed aside by Sweden like we have since 1934 in WC semifinals; the fact that it's Sweden we're playing against is irrelevant. This leads to:

Denmark over United States for bronze
Switzerland over Sweden for gold

The American players will lose to Denmark because we'll play like we'd rather be doing anything else other than playing for bronze, as usual for us. Switzerland over Sweden for no good reason, I'm making the bold prediction for the sake of making a bold prediction.
