Who would you pick between Eklund, McQueen and O'Brien if all are available when we pick?

McQueen's injury history scares me too much. The other two have roughly the same upside, but Eklund has the higher floor. So Eklund. Though I'd prefer to package that pick for an NHL player or soon-to-be-ready prospect to speed things up a bit.

Our talent pool is deep. We are at a point, where 1st round picks have to be on the table.

I love the playoff drought talk, like the league didn't change the rules for the covid playoffs. If not for that complete farce, Arizona would be on a 13 season long drought. Chicago 8. Anaheim 7.

Nobody is glossing it over, but I think that highlights how stagnant the NHL has become. Few teams have fallen out of the postseason the last 10 years, and few have made the jump into the postseason as regulars.
