Sven Andrighetto for the Habs but I really hope they'll keep him. He has good offensive upsides and if given the chance, will surprise a lot of people.

Unfortunately, I don't think the organization have faith in him like I do... I would actually do something like Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Andrighetto and Radulov - Plekanec - Gallagher to balance things out and be able to still have a decent third line (Carr - Danault - Shaw)!

Would Montreal be interested in Andrigehtto for Scott Mayfield?

NYI could use another right winger and Mayfield is stuck behind Hamonic/Boychuk/Pulock. He's a big defenseman who has an edge and can skate well. His puck skills are suited for a third pairing right now, but he's still young and has upside.

Rattie/Armia to Toronto for Corrado

I didn't realize we needed more NHL forwards who required waivers. What, we only have 19 of them with a reasonable chance to earn a spot so far?

Lets get another forward we're required to wave along with Leivo, among others.

Might have to waive Corrado anyway but there's less depth on D so there's less chance of that then getting another forward to waive

Young guy with a big body to compete for a spot in camp, will force Leivo among others to perform to the best of their abilities. If he doesn't earn a spot, waive him.

Corrado ****ing sucks man.

do you know who else ****ing sucks? All our depth D. I don't care if Corrado sucks he's literally 8th on the depth chart. 4th on the right side. We literally only have 4 right D in our entire organization.

Valiev, Dermott, Nielsen they need full time playing time in the minors. I don't want Campbell or Holl to be forced into playing time. They've even worse. Loov might be better, but again, not a righty.

You've trading a player who although he's not good, is the best depth we got for a player who we're just either going to have to waive, or if he wins a spot forces us to waive someone just as valuable. It doesn't make any sense.

Make my day.
Was not thrilled when the isles traded Pedan to Van.
The return was nothing at all.
Would be great to get him back . Always thought if given the chance he had that " Chara" factor.
Chara was very awkward when he first began his career.
Anyway there is no spot . He would need an NHL spot and Mayfield is in the same situation..
What might have been .
Pedan is a poor man's Luca Sbisa. He's probably 2nd or 3rd D best on his AHL team. Based on last year's pay if he wasn't a waivers risk this year he'd be an automatic send down.

Thank you but that won't be necessary. He'd be in the same situation here behind Weber, Petry and Pateryn.

Somebody will be calling Jim Benning...his specialty is acquiring waiver-eligible prospects once they've worn out their welcome.

I'd rather do this and just try to sneak one of them through waivers.

I'm not sold on Corrado. I don't really see why we choose him over Harrington or Percy. (I know he's RH, but I personally think that's overrated.)
He'll make the team in a meaningless way, or he'll get put on waivers.

I'd rather play that game with Rattie/Armia.

Jurco and the other guy said Sproul?

I trade for both of them for the Kings.

Kings have a lot of veterans that will probably be put on waivers. But the young name to look for would be Forbort.
Yeah, forgot about Sproul. Is Forbort ready yet? I know he was a pretty high profile prospect at one point but I must admit I have not really followed Forbort.:help:

With the oilers I think it's just lander and pitlick battling with khaira and pakarinen for spots.

Only the first two are waiver eligible if I had to guess.

Also Mark Fraser for D.

That's probably it.

I thought he played well for Edmonton last season and I wondered how much more improvement there would be this year. Be surprised if he cleared.

TMac really liked Pakarinen, mentioned him specifically as a guy that has climbed the organizational depth chart, so I really doubt they send him through waivers. Not to mention we could use a Finn to help out Poolparty.

Got an offer?

I don't know the Wings needs. Probably won't be anything big. Maybe a swap of roster guys for Jurco and a prospect swap for Sproul? A need for need kind of deal.

He is ready but the Kings have a logjam of LHD. He has been passed on the depth chart by Gravel and the trade for McNabb knocked him down again, but definitely ready. Got some NHL games in last year. Didn't look to bad.

I don't know if he was highly thought of at the draft. He was more of a development Dman that was gonna take longer to mold at the draft. He is more of a 5/6 Dman now than the 3/4 Dman potential at the draft.

Kings management likes him a lot. He's good with his stick work and high IQ, but lacks the foot speed to log big minutes. But he is hard to play against.

Yakupov and Pouliot will not be protected by the Oilers.
One of Maroon or Davidson will be exposed as well if not both
