I'm not talking about TJ Brodie, who is now certifiably trash. I'm talking about the guy you watch closely, and you know they've irrevocably turned the corner toward trash. The casual or intermittent or stat-watching fan may not notice, but you definitely do.

For the Hawks, it's Connor Murphy. Constantly a step behind and can't hit anyone unless they run into him first. He's only 31, but it's been a swift fall from a solid #4 RHD. Best of luck to whoever gives us a 1st for this guy.

Others around the league?

Giroux. I'd still re-sign for a few more years at a friendly retirement deal but the drop-off has been noticeable and disappointing. Old man status.

if we are being fair, Does Ovechkin even skate anymore?
the guy broke his leg less than 2 months ago.. had plenty of jump before that and was leading the league in goals at the time of his injury. dumb comment.

Flames guys have been aging like wine. I'm almost expecting players to be good until 36 now haha.

I swear guys used to fall off at 32 consistently. Injury rehab must be improved.
