Frats, I don't care what anyone says, I don't think you ever got a fair shake here, but I'm happy that you're going to a team where you can play RW hopefully. Best of luck and hope you find that "hot spot".

Des, you along with Weal are my favorite prospects. I was really hoping to see you in a kings uni sometime next year. Well, our loss is your gain, as you'll probably have better opportunity with BUFF. I know you'll be a great nhler! Wish you nothing but the very best!

Fasching, please don't make us regret trading you, not too much anyways. Best of luck!

We both share the same view on Frattin. Wish him nothing but the best along with the other two. Just don't score on Quick.

I was the biggest Frattin support when he came and still do think the guy has some untapped skill. Hopefully he gets a chance to show it someplace, whether it be Columbus or elsewhere. This to me seems like a Teddy Purcell moment all over again. Hopefully Gaborik does way better than Jeff Halpern.

All the best to all three!

If I had a vote, all three of their jerseys will be in the Staples rafters one day.

On a serious note, Frattin was a major disappointment. Hopefully he can get some pt in Lumbus.

Frattin seemed like a good guy, just didn't work out here for him. He didn't do anything terrible, but he was invisible most of the times he played. Hopefully he can find himself in Columbus.

Amen. Good kids, all of them--especially Fasching--what a story that kid has. I'll be rooting for him unless we see him vs. us in the finals :)

Frattin will put up 20 for Lumbus next year, book it. The guy rang at least that many posts for us

20... goals? I'll take you up on that.

Frattin according to all accounts came into camp as one of the best conditioned athletes and worked his butt off. He just didn't fit in fast enough and the switch to LW was a difficult task. Best of luck to him.

No. 6 is cursed. 21 is ok. Smolinski was pretty good as #21.

A better 21.

Man, remember the days when it was:

#1 C - Stumpel
#2 C - Smolinski

*shudders*

We are so spoiled now.

Hey when they were #1 and #2 was one of my favorite years 2000-2001 That is the team that beat the Wings in the playoffs!

Robitaille 37-51 Stumpel 16-39 Palffy 38-51
Reinprecht 12-17 Smolinski 27-32 Murray 18-21

Then they picked up Deadmarsh, A. Miller, and two #1, for Blake and Reinprecht
(Colorado won that trade)

All the best to two very good young NHL caliber players and on potential NHL star.

I met Hudson and he is as solid as they come. I know NickD and he will go on to a solid NHL career given the chance and it is just a matter of time before Fratts gets established as an everyday bottom 6er.

Gonna sting seeing both Nick and more so Hudson wearing another teams colors but that is the way it goes.

All the very best to each of them.
